100 Years of National Parks in Utah
Location: Blanding and Moab, Utah

Competittion painting dates are August 29 through August 31, 2008.
Participating artists must paint and complete at least one paintings on scene, in plein air, within the boundaries of Natural Bridges National Monument.
An optional second work may be completed in any of the following parks: Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park or Hovenweep National Monument.
Artworks will be displayed at the Edge of the Cedars State Park and Museum, Blanding, Utah 9/27-10/31/08
Artworks will then be displayed at the Museum of Moab, Moab, Utah 11/3-12/13/08

The Telluride Plein Air Celebration

This event is a fund raiser for the Sheridan Arts Foundation and the Historic Sheridan Opera House.
Jurors selected 30 artists to participate in the 2008 event.

The Sage Creek Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico will host this juried event and show during the month of March 2008, and will feature an exhibition of over 150 of the nation's most talented plein air artists. Participating artists are from six southwestern states: Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Colordao. It promises to be an exciting event.
Awards Presentation: Friday, March 7th.
Reception: Saturday, March 8th, 11 am - 4 pm
